It would be good to have something around 5 or 6 on Saturday - when people who might have been in town anyway would be thinking of going home.
Choir-wise, we will be on holidays from early June, but if I ask in the next couple of weeks, we might be able to get enough bodies together for a short performance. What they would do would be determined by the number of people available, but it's a good sound. Whaddya think? Is choral music too "establishment" for us or what?

Should we have some kind of event that relates to the show?
or is that trying too to be grown-up artists?
Personally I'd like it all to be a light-hearted affair. Make it easy for people to ask questions if they want to. What did you have in mind?
As long as there's moustachio flavour when we have the ice-cream, I'm happy.
I talked to Orla, the choir director, about doing a short recital(about 30 mins) at teatime on Saturday 21st July, and she is broadly positive about it - depends on how many singers will be about and interested, which I can check tomorrow.
Good news - the choir are on for a short performance on the Saturday (21st) in the gallery. I said about 5 or 6 p.m., which we can confirm to them later. Just need to check numbers of people again next monday, so we'll know what stuff we can do. It will be things from our repertoire. I said we would have a preference for secular rather than sacred, and nothing too cheesy ...
Jessamyn wants to know whether we are still going to have a dinner. We should maybe meet before we meet her and finalise some stuff. What do you guys think? Maybe before we meet her for a couple of hours?

Yep I think we need to make some decisions about the events. I'm kind of concerned with the whole wedding and me not being there thing. I dont want to leave you with too much stuff. lets figure out a way to make it all manageable that we are all happy with. Can we meet before the meeting with Jessamyn?
